Owner Roberto Castellon Diaz is not new to the restaurant scene.  21 years ago, his restaurant "Roberto's" was one of the first ones on Basillo Badillo. Roberto's  soon became known as one of the best seafood restaurants in Puerto Vallarta with a reputation for great food, reasonable prices, elegant ambiance and excellent service.  Roberto closed his Vallarta restaurant several years ago and is now proud to introduce his latest venture: Xocolatl in La Cruz.

The terrace offers a spectacular view of the bay which allows you to enjoy the sereen beauty of the north Bay. With the Riviera Nayarit Marina in view. 

The attentive friendly staff is well trained and very accomodating!  There is lots to chose from the extensive menu in a relaxed and beautiful atmosphere.  The plates are simple but the very freshest of ingredients are used and well prepared.

Here is a menu sample: Roberto's Mexican Plate - A traditional combo with a seafood twist.  Superb! Puerto Nuevo Shrimps - Stuffed with ham, cheese & bacon and cooked on the grill Whole Red Snapper - The pride of Bahia de Banderas Filet Migon - Certified Angus Beef.  This diesh is exquisite, with wild mushrooms on the side. Super Crunch Salad - Romaine lettuce, cucumber, pepper, avocado, tomato, onion. heart of palm and artichoke with a vinegrette dressing (chicken, panela cheese, shrimp & fish can be added) Flank Angus Steak Fajitas with Shrimp - Served on a bed of grilled vegetables with rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream, salsa & tortillas Super Chimichanga - Crispy flour tortilla stuffed with Gouda cheese, grilled vegetables, guacamole, sour cream & beans. Your choice of grilled chicken breast, Angus arrachera, garlic shrimp, vegetarian or combo *Garlic Shrimp highly recommended

There are elegant sitting areas to enjoy a glass of wine or sit at a table either in the restaurant or overlooking the bay.  The relaxing music plays in the background or a preformance of a local muscian on the Grand Piano.
