Baker Sandy Penner had a long time dream of opening a bakeshop and in December 2007, that dream became a reality! Sandy and her husband Ted opened Sweet Thing Bakery and Cafe in Bucerias

Sandy has been baking since childhood alongside her mother and grand-mother. They sure taught her well! With years of knowledge and countless recipes at hand, she brings to Bucerias (and the whole Bahia de Banderas area) tried and tested dishes along with innovated new products, each made with love.

At Sweet Thing Bakery and Cafe , the goal is simple: Your satisfaction! Whether your heart desires a gooey cinnamon roll or a scrumpious omelet, you can count on everything made with the freshest ingredients.

Here is a sample of the menu:

BREAKFAST

Strawberry Waffle - Golden waffle served with strawberries, whipped cream & syrup.
Banana Nut Pancakes - 3 Pancakes served with sliced bananas, pecans, whipped cream & syrup.
2 Eggs, Bacon or Sausage & Pancakes - Served with hashbrowns and 2 small pancakes.
Breakfast Burrito - 2 eggs with onion, peppers & tomato, in a flour tortilla with beans & cheese. Served with hashbrowns & salsa.

LUNCH

BLT & Avocado sandwich - Crisp bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado & mayo on toasted multigrain.
Chicken Cobb sandwich - Dill seasoned chicken, bacon, cucumber, avocado, red onion & bleu cheese dressing.
Santa Fe Chicken Quesadilla - Grilled chicken, avocado, corn & cheese. Served with ranch, salsa & sour cream.
Taco Salad - Lettuce, cheese, taco chips, seasoned ground beef & pico de gallo. Served with salsa & sour cream.

Drop in and relax with a cup of delicious organically grown coffee in a little piece of tropical paradise.
