Why the upside down apple logo? - It is in honor of the owner's hometown Zacatlan which is famous for its succulent red fruit. Unfortunately when hail comes and plagues the orchards, it beats the apples just as they are ready for picking. Undaunted, the proud farmers carefully pack the apples for market with their perfect bottoms up to best reflect their perfectly delicious taste.

Fresh tropical fruit dishes
French toast, Hot Cakes, Waffles
Chilaquiles - Crispy tortilla chips with a special red sauce, onions, melted cheese and sour cream with refried beans
Huevos al Gusto - (A must) - Huevos Colombianos - Columbian eggs scrambled with tomato, bell pepper, shrimp and scallions, served with rice
Omelettes - Our specialty has Chorizo, bacon, ham, apple and cheese
Quesadillas - try our shrimp & cheese

Ricardo would like to thank all that have come over the years and supported his restaurant. Many have seen the progress the resteraunt has made as Red Apple Place was of the few that started back in March 17th, 2000. They started small with 5 tables have since grown.

Red Apple invites anyone that have pictures of their visit over the years to forward them as they celebrate their 10th year anniversary in Bucerias!

Best place in town with the best service. Ricardo and his family never disapoint. Will continue to go back for years to come. Note: try the deepfried icecream.

We loved discovering this place...thanks to the sign at the base of the stairs. We had several great lunches here and loved Ricardo and his family. Excellent views and fabulous food...what else could you want? Margaritas are excellent as well. Cannot wait to go back.

Red Apple Place is amazing! The views are unparalleled in Bucerias. Service is the BEST - Ildefonso taking orders in the front is charming and gracious, Ricardo - cooking in back always has a smile! This is hands down my favorite place to go from PV to Sayulita - breakfasts so relaxing, sunsets to end a great day. Ildefonso makes the best Spanish Coffee & if you are up for some fun - as for the La Cuckaracha!!! Oh, how I miss Red Apple place!

We love their breakfasts, every trip. But we tried having dinner there this time and what a shock!! The menu was amazing and the food was unreal!! Everything from appetizers to mains was better than we've had a higher end places. This is a must for people who really love and appreciate fine food. All the desserts are homemade and nothing short of spectacular.
