Philo's Bar

This pizza restaurant and community center in the lovely town of La Cruz in the Mexican state of Nayarit, 28 km from Puerto Vallarta. We serve pizza, burgers, salads, BBQ sandwiches and other delicious items.

Monday: Closed on Monday
Tuesday: Buy one large pizza get one more Pizzas for free. Open at 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday: Happy hour all night with special drink prices. Open at 4:30 p.m.
Thursday: Jam session with, Philo and the Mexican Shuffle Band. Open mic starts at 8:30 p.m.
Friday: Philo and the Mexican Shuffle Band.
Saturday: Ajim and Alessandra starts at 8:30 p.m.
Sunday: Closed on Sundays

With various artists/guests playing music to please - Friday and Saturday nights feature dance music. Originals mixed with Blues, Country and Rock and Roll. Large dance floor, great pizzas, and cool people.....stop by.

The Friendship Club of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle was formed at Philo's eight years ago when the family of a deaf little girl in La Cruz asked for help. After we raised enough money to buy hearing aids and pay for speech therapy, we kept on going, paying for braces, x-rays, laboratory tests, medication, surgery, a prosthetic leg, eye exams, eye glasses, and much more for children and adults in the La Cruz / Bucerias area. In years when we have had a surplus of funds, we are able to buy school uniforms and supplies for children who would not otherwise be able to attend school. All this is possible because of the generous donations given to us by area residents and visitors to Philo's.
