Born and raised in Monopoli, Italy, Francesco remembers growing up watching his grand-mother preparing fresh pasta and helping his father make wine and olive oil. Choosing freshly caught fish late afternoon right off the boats was a highlight. In honor of his hometown, Francesco has had a painting of his hometown created in his restaurant.

He took these memories and traditions and started his own restaurant in Bucerias.  2 years later, LaQuinta di Francesco restaurant in Bucerias has generated a very faithful following making it challanging to fit everyone who comes into this quaint restaurant.

We own and run a vacation rental and this restaurant is simply the very best italian restaurant in Bucerias.....who needs to go to Vallarta anymore for a good authentic italian dinner.

Once again we invited guests (there were 6 of us) to a restaurant recommended by 'BOB' (Best of Bucerias)and you didn't let us down! From start to finish, including the wine, everything was fabulous. We'll be returning.

We had the good fortune to stumble on Francesco's the very day it opened, and make it a point to eat here several times every year during our stay..never disappointed, it just gets better and better!

Me and my husband love this place, I think the last time we were in Bucerias we ate there 3 times in 10 days! The food is to die for, the Mandarincello is WOW and Francesco is one of the nicest people I know. Hola Francesco from England
