Guests will enjoy the entertainment of Canadian singer Kim Kuzma, a local favorite, along with other special guests.

Of course the food will be fabulous, with 40 of Vallarta's premiere restaurants tempting party-goers. Organizers point out that plans include plenty of seating and tables to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, drinks and the colorful local entertainment.

Ticket price is $550 pesos per person, and patron tables of 10 are available for $900 pesos per table. Patron tables will have priority seating, an earlier entrance time, waiter service for drinks and other perks.

Available at the event will be the 2012 Children of the Refugio Cookbook. All proceeds from the cookbook benefit RISE and the Vallarta Botanical Gardens. The 60 page publication is bilingual and features the restaurants’ recipes as well as photos of the food and portraits of the children.

The entire event is a fundraising project for the RISE (Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza) Children's Shelter in Puerto Vallarta.
